Os dois principais produtos da França são: queijo fedorento e idiotas. É um país tão sofisticado que para vender seus idiotas pro resto do mundo os chama carinhosamente de intelectuais. Um típico idiota francês, i.e., um intelectual, acredita que o comunismo é a solução para todos os problemas. Vejam esta entrevista do velho idiota Alain Badiou:
Sackur: How can you say communism is the right hypothesis today, when we know what we know about the authoritarian, tyrannical tendencies of communism in our lifetimes.
Badiou: Yes, but we have to distinguish between the genuine Idea of Communism, for example in the work of Marx himself, and the experiences of the last century, because the experiences of the last century are the first attempt to realize a new society. This attempt is a failure, okay. But after that, is the failure of that sort of experience the failure of the Idea itself? I don’t believe it.
Sackur: But that reduces your communist adherence to nothing more than a faith. Rather than look at its practical impact upon the 20th century, you just say, “Ah, well, that wasn’t pure. It wasn’t true to the idea. But I know that the idea itself remains right.” That’s a form of faith.
Badiou: Maybe, but faith is a great thing sometimes…

Será que esse é um sinal do fim dos tempos? Não existem direitos de propriedade nesse país?

A resposta de Badiou é a velha e surrada desculpa esquerdista da dicotomia "comunismo ideal x comunismo real". Não bastasse isto, adoram comparar o comunismo ideal com o capitalismo real e suas mazelas. Contra esta última comparação espúria devemos oferecer comparar o comunismo real com o capitalismo real como, por exemplo, mostrando os indicadores sócio-economicos de Cuba e da Suiça, sem esquecer, é claro, de ponderar os resultados pelo grau de liberdade política em ambos os países.
